It starts with a simple concept ... CHARITY or LOVE.
Love your neighbor as yourself because how can we say that we love God, who we have not seen, when we don't love our neighbor, who we can see? (I John 4:20, Matt 19:19, Matt 5:43, Matt 22:39, Mark 12:31, Lev 19:18, Mark 12:33, Romans 13:8, Gal 5:14, James 2:8, & Romans 13:9)
Next it grows through KNOWLEDGE.
In order to provide real help, knowledge is essential. Information acquired through evidence, based on a logical and reasonable system supplies the knowledge on which intelligent decisions are made to improve the quality of life. Much suffering and death has occurred as a direct result of a lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
Those who aspire to practice love and pursue knowledge we recognize as Friends of Hope. Hope still abounds in the midst of caring, knowledgeable human beings. The mission of Friends of Hope is to spread HOPE through projects that promote CHARITY and KNOWLEDGE.
